Sucks.
sometimes the hardest
part of being
a mom
is realizing that
there is nothing
that can be done
to keep a child
close to you..
when they make
it very obvious
that they do not want to
be a part of your life.
so I am saying goodbye
to my boy... I love him..
but I can't take his abusive
nature nor his dad's abuse..
so... here I sit...
trying to make
sense of it all...
but to no avail.
I hope he
will be happy..
and
one day
he will realize
that I did the best
I could.
he may be 20 or 30 or 50...
but.. he will need me long before I
need him..
I am asking for
all of my family
and friends to pray
that God would
lead him in the right
direction. that he will
remember being in'
church and the teachings
of christ our Lord.
and though he may stray..
and turn his back on
his Father in Heaven...all he will have to
do is turn around and pray
for forgivness...
Lord... Please be with my
boy.... guide him and watch him..
touch his heart and his life...
In Jesus' precious name
I pray Amen.

Prayers are with you and your family. It is really hard being a parent sometimes.
Kelly, you are a good mother! I pray for your comfort and peace. Always remember Proverbs 22:6 tells us, "Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it." Yours teachings and your prayers over your son will be heard and the Lord will watch over him!

Like I said before I know he will come back to you when he is more mature and can make "his own decisions" He couldn't ask for a better Mom.
Now all you can do is be the best Mom you can be to those who count on you everyday.
He will come back.
