saying goodbye..

Sucks.

sometimes the hardest
part of being
a mom
is realizing that
there is nothing
that can be done
to keep a child
close to you..
when they make
it very obvious
that they do not want to
be a part of your life.
so I am saying goodbye
to my boy... I love him..
but I can't take his abusive
nature nor his dad's abuse..
so... here I sit...
trying to make
sense of it all...
but to no avail.
I hope he
will be happy..
and
one day
he will realize
that I did the best
I could.
he may be 20 or 30 or 50...
but.. he will need me long before I
need him..

I am asking for
all of my family
and friends to pray
that God would
lead him in the right
direction. that he will
remember being in'
church and the teachings
of christ our Lord.
and though he may stray..
and turn his back on
his Father in Heaven...all he will have to
do is turn around and pray
for forgivness...

Lord... Please be with my
boy.... guide him and watch him..
touch his heart and his life...
In Jesus' precious name
I pray Amen.

Happy Birthday Sweet Angel

Today is Roger Kenley's 9th birthday. He is celebrating in the arms of our Heavenly Father. It was 9 years ago today that Kenley came into this world at 4 pounds and 3 ounces and very sick. he fought a hard fight, but much to our sadness he was called home to play in the streets of gold and rest in the arms of Jesus 2 days later on April 28th. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him. I wonder what he would look like. Would he have curly hair like kyli's or red hair like chazs'? Would he play ball or would he skate board like Cole? I miss him and wish I could have had more time with him. Time to bathe him and smell his sweet head. To kiss him goodnight or play ball with him. At the time of Kenley's death there was a song on the radio that played called " one more day" by Diamond Rio, everytime I hear it I think of him... I thought I would share the lyrics with you.

it is so beatiful..... it still brings tears to my eyes even after 9 years.

I know that Kenley's death was not in vain. God knew what was gonna happen before he came into this world and while he didn't grant me a miracle with Kenley.... He blessed me with 3 more beautiful babies.... for which I couldn't live without. His death also brought SEan and I closer together and formed an eternal bond between us, one that cannot be broken, no matter what the devil throws at us.

Today we will celebrate Kenley's birthday with a smile, because One day we will see him again and he will not be sick and he will know us from the minute we each enter the gates of heaven.

Please say a prayer for us.

To say hi, and I am still here... I am still here, just being blog lazy.... in other news..... Sean informed me at 2 am that we are taking the kids to six flags in georgia... today... soo I am packed .. car is ready..now we are all just waitng on the plumber...( as usual) soo I will post pics as soon as we return... hollar at ya'll later.....
