TODAY I SENT OFF MY PORTFOLIO FOR THE SOY CONTEST AT CREATING KEEPSAKES ... I PROBABLY DONT HAVE A SNOW BALLS CHANCE IN HAY DAY TO WIN... BUT I FEEL A SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHEMENT THAT I DID IT.. IM NOT BIG ON REJECTION ... BUT YOU NEVER KNOW UNTIL YOU TRY... RIGHT? THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IN JULY6.. AND ON OR ABOUT JULY 30 THEY WILL BE NOTIFING THE FIANLIST... SOOO IM SURE ILL BE ON PINS AND NEEDLES ON THOSE FEW DAYS..

ON A DIFFERENT NOTE'

SEANS GREAT GRANDMOTHER PASSED AWAY AT THE YOUNG AGE OF 99.. SHE WAS A WONDERFUL CHRISTIAN WOMAN AND PRAYED ALL THE TIME..SHE IS DEFINATELY LOOKING DOWN FROM HEAVEN SMILING UPON ALL OF US... SHE LIVED A GREAT LONG LIFE... AND TONIGHT SHE IS CELEBRATING IN THE ARMS OF OUR SAVIOR ....

KEEP OUR FAMILY IN YOUR PRAYERS .. TONIGHT AS WE GO THROUGH THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

a little toot... and some excitement

first of all ... basic grey picked up my cute lil card ... (in previous post) it was my very first card to be published..

most of you know i was chosen to be a guest designer for SCRAPPINTRENDS.COM for the month of july... how exciting is that.. soo this weekend i have been busy getting some projects done... i have done quite a bit... and i am very happy with how they turned out... soo yall head on over to scrappin trends and look for my projects on july 1st... i hope you all enjoy my work...im sooo nervous....

i want to say a big thank you to MY FRIEND JEANNE FOR SENDING ME THAT WAY...AND I WANT TO SAY A HUMONGOUS THANK YOU TO ELISA... FOR CHOOSING ME AS A GUEST DESIGNER FOR SCRAPPIN TRENDS..IT IS A HUGE HONOR..... AND I HAVE REALLY ENJOYED HANGING OUT AND GETTING TO KNOW EVERYONE...

ON A SAD NOTE... MOST OF YOU WHO READ THE NEWS... KNOW ABOUT THE YOUNG MOTHER THAT WAS PREGNANT AN DUE TO DELIVER ON JULY 3... THEY FOUND HER ...SADLY SHE OR THE BABY WAS NOT ALIVE.... SOO PRAY FOR THIS FAMILY... AND FOR HER YOUNG SON...

my notebook..and a card just for you!!!

o.k. sooo my laptop came in woohoo!!! it is very high tech..and i am still trying to figure it out..it runs on the new vista..and thank goodness they had a download on their web site to make my computer that is only a yar old..compatiable...( ony after they wanted me to purchase another warranty plan..cuz mine was expired) i had to fuss and ask for supervisors and the whole bit..but she finally got the drift and came off of the info...

sooo here is a card i made just for you!! lol

DOING THE HAPPY DANCE

i finally got in touch with hp..wooohooo my lap top is now leaving memphis..it was built in china..( yes for real) and i must say..it is a lot better than the one i had... they really out did theirselves..but hay...i deserve it!! especially all that i have been through....sooo on tuesday..i will be loading all of my programs on my laptop..soo i am thrilled!!!!
